Amazing food and even better service. If you are looking for a steak that rivals most 5 star restaurants, look no further! Cooked perfectly, well seasoned, accompanied by some of the best sauces I’ve ever had! Love it here.
If your looking for authentic Peruvian cuisine you've found it. You'll be greeted by friendly wait staff in a laid back dining room. I tried the Fettuccine Pisco Mar. All the seafood was cooked perfectly. Nothing tough or chewy. The traditionally season sauce really brought the entire dish together. This is a dish you will be glad you ordered.
Absolutely delicious!!! We ordered the special of the day: Tacu Tacu con Lomo and Lomo Saltado. Because we arrived after lunchtime, we found plenty of space to seat. Our waitress Rocio was super nice and took our order right away. The food arrived within 15 minutes and was exquisite. The Lomo Saltado was cooked to perfection and had the most tender pieces of steak marinated in soy sauce, vinegar, onions and tomatoes. The Tacu Tacu was also exceptional. and the Chicha Morada was simply perfect! Our rating is 5/5 stars and this is coming from Peruvians.
I’m giving this place 5* because it has the potential to be a really good Peruvian restaurant. The food is good, the service however is slow. Also I find it kind of funny that it’s named Pisco Mar, but they don’t sell pisco. Again, this “critique” is on the hopes it will be a great restaurant! Indianapolis NEEDS more Peruvian food, as you can see all the Peruvians came to support, so hopefully they keep improving and make us proud! Viva Peru caraj😎
I was never much of a fan of ceviche, and I tried it when I visited Miami. It was "meh" to me. The seafood tasted a little mushy in some ways and rubbery in others. BUT, Pisco Mar knows how to do their ceviche right!! The sourness, spiciness, and texture of the fish were superb. I also loved the chunks of sweet potatoes that gave it another fine note of flavor when you build your bite of fish with it. Luscious! And their sauces are delicious. The steak I ordered was cooked beautifully, not tough at all. Everything was great! Our server, Hans, was great. He was informative, attentive, and pleasant. This is definitely a don't-miss place.
