Golden House Buffet

Finding Golden House was like coming back home to a good meal. They offered a wide variety of Chinese staples as well as Burmese dishes. This was the only buffet I've ever seen that actually offered bok choy, or curry! My husband and I only had the chance to visit Golden House 3 times before we discovered they had closed down. I will miss their Burmese Pork Stew very much, and doubt I will find another Asian buffet with the same level of authenticity here in Indy soon.

I appreciated the varied items on the buffet. Things you don't see on other buffets. Like Burmese Pork and other unique items.

For a place that advertises as a Chinese food and sushi place I was disappointed by the sushi mostly. The food all together wasn't great, and I've been to a lot of cheap Chinese food places, so my judgement is somewhat calibrated. We arrived at 5:45 on a Saturday night and the whole time of our meal the selection of sushi remained the same. 3 pieces of California roll. The entire time, no less, no more. See picture. Great variety! I loved the food! Also, I love the atmosphere and it is very clean. Great service.
