Tamale/Taco Shop

I am new to the Indianapolis area and love tamales. I bought a dozen tamales and the flavoring wasn’t bad at all however they weren’t fully cooked so when I took off the corn husk the masa had fallen apart and was goowey. I do plan to go back to give them another try and I’m hoping this next time around will be 10x better. The staff appeared to be friendly. But the goowey tamales was not worth the price. they ask for $24 plus tax a dozen which is outrageous but I paid for it because I love tamales and thought it’s be worth it. I’m from Chicago and you can buy a dozen tamales for $10-12 dollars I’m disappointed I paid this much and received these kind of tamales.

Pretty good food & friendly service. I'm no expert, but the tortillas seemed a bit soggy. Everyplace is different & this is definitely one to try to see what you think!

Great little hole in the wall place. The food is very good and authentic. The tamales and weekend menu are very typical of homemade comfort foods.

It's a good little hole in the wall restaurant. The food was good, and the service was quick and friendly. If you want authentic Mexican food this is the place. I only took away a star because they don't have chips and salsa.

Stop here for dine in or takeout. This restaurant has fine, well prepared food with authentic seasonings. If you love Mexican food you will be satisfied.
