Charming little place nestled back off the road on eagle creek.
The best part of the experience was the service. Our server was exceptional and knew the menu extremely well.
We ordered the stuffed crab mushrooms which were amazing. The house salads were okay. Seemed like the lettuce needed rinsed off again.
We ordered a filet and prime rib. The fillet was cooked to a perfect medium and tender. The prime rib was a little over done for my liking. It came more medium than medium-rare as ordered.
It’s worth giving this place shot of your looking for a decent meal and nice getaway for a few hours.
We came here to celebrate a birthday and had a large party, not only was the food delicious but service was phenomenal! All of our drinks were filled regularly, food came out correctly and promptly and everything was fresh ! Definitely a great evening !
Although our food was enjoyable, the attitude towards my friend with deadly allergies was flippant at best, apathetic at worst. My friend, who is allergic to soy, ran through his list of allergies with a manager and a server. The server informed the kitchen of this allergy, but they still sent his food out with soy sauce on the side. My friend was fine because I removed the sauce immediately when I recognized it, but he was unaware that it was soy sauce until I said something. The first manager never came to talk to us and the second manager claimed it was Worcestershire although two servers confirmed it was soy sauce. Someone who was trusting of the staff and didn’t know any better would end up hospitalized from this episode.
Allergy-safe folks be aware. The manager seemed very uninvested in keeping his customers safe.
I find this charming Cafe to be one of my favorite places for dining out.
The food and service is always exceptional nestled alongside Eagle Creek.
Great for a romantic evening too.
