“You might not think of this as an obvious place to eat, but it should be your first choice. The service is courteous, but the important part is the food. The chicken I ordered was incredible; I have eaten $20+ chicken at other places that wasn't as good as the chicken I ate. The flavors of the fries, chicken, and sauce all compliment each other very well, and they even add a few cucumber slices to kill overwhelming spice. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal.”

“Delicious! Really authentic, great food. We felt like it was healthier cooking too, less grease. Food came out fast and was very tasty. The queso was also great. Didn't have any cider which is my normal go to, but they recommended a rum mixed drink and I loved it.”

“Food was good. Awesome atmosphere. Artwork was gorgeous. However, I gave it 3 stars because of the service. About 20 minutes later, our waiter came over and took our orders and disappeared. He came over 1 time when we were almost done with our food to ask if we needed refills on our drinks that had been empty for most of the meal. He filled our drinks and disappeared again. We finished our meals and drinks and waited half an hour before we saw him again. As he was passing us, I had to tell him we are waiting on our bill. The restaurant wasn't busy at all so have no clue why our waiter wasn't checking on us.”

“Best Chinese in town! The decor and music feel like a touch of the owners own style which is a nice insight , lo mein is my go to but the orange chicken is amazing. First time I've had that dish and the chicken tastes fresh with homemade sauce . Price is on par with other places maybe a dollar or two more but I'll pay that for great food and amazing service”

“My family really enjoy eating Jr. Whoppers, onion rings & desserts or pies. I like that the hamburgers are flame broiled & that I get fresh vegetables on them, onions, tomatoes & lettuce, though I liked them better with lettuce leaves not this diced lettuce pieces I'm getting now, which falls out of the sandwich with mayo on them all over my clothes & seat no matter how careful I am! The onion rings are great and that Zesty Sauce makes them taste even better! The apple pies are great, so are the cheesecakes, including oreo cheesecakes, but we like them all!”

“I feel the prices are way over priced. I went there on Sunday and all I wanted was some rib tips and they were charging 10.00 and some change and that wasn’t the dinner just the tips. So I didn’t get any not because I didn’t have the money but because I felt that was high way robbery. And also they are very stingy with the portions. I got a piece of chess pie for 2.45 and you should have seen how small it was. It was ridiculous. I want to support black owned businesses but that’s the main reason why I don’t. I mostly go to white establishment only. Sad but true”

If you're doing carry-out, just hope you come at a time when they've just brought out fresh food. “I am burnt out on all the burger joints. I don't eat much pizza because ketchup , sauce or anything made of tomatoes somehow just doesn't agree with me well. But because I'm burnt out on the burger joints and it's not practical to go to the fancy pricey restaurants, I decided to go and order a pizza with no tomato sauce. I'm not aware of such thing having been done before. I gave up worrying they might think I was crazy, I wanted new food. This was years ago by now, and I'm glad it actually worked without question. I get the single serving with thick crust light cheese and the serious meat option. And I can still manage some of the cinnamon bread, and of course I got to have a drink with that. Fountain, that is. The next size up pizza costs as much by itself as my typical order. So I have ordered a 2nd upon occasion, and it still comes to less then the next size up with a drink and the dessert dish. I have tried this at other pizza places but Donatos remains my favorite.”

“This is the best authentic Mexican quick service tacos in Indianapolis. They also have a food truck with the same name that ran during evenings. The meat is very juicy and tender. The place is a decent size and very clean. It is never crowded unless you go to the food truck. I love that they put up a tent to stand under during food truck hours.”

“Very wonderful surprise restaurant for us! Our headlight went out and we had to stop and figured we would have dinner at the same time. I was probably the only non Spanish speaker in the restaurant which meant we were in for some great food! The people working in the restaurant were really helpful and kind. We started with the plantains which were really good! Who knew we could get a dish like this in Indy! My husband and I had never had pupuserias before. I suggest 1-2 for a lighter to average meal and 3 if you are a bigger eater. We tried the cheese, the cheese and pork, the steak and cheese. All were really good!”
