Had lunch there a couple of weeks ago. Onion rings had great flavor but were overly greasy. Turkey sandwich was good. Companion had breaded tenderloin and said it was very good. Only real complaint is that the afternoon sun was shining in so brightly that there were very few tables in the family side that were not severely affected by that. Hopefully they have added shades. Will try again

GREAT food! Onion rings and roasted brussel sprouts fantastic! And I finally found Strawberry ale! Love the music, plenty of TV"s. Great staff. Service could be a little faster. Just opened about a month or so ago and we've already been twice and brought back more friends! I recommend Tried & True! Family side is nice, great atmosphere!

I'd give it a solid 4.5. Have been here on several occasions. They have a bar side if you are into more of a bar atmosphere and a family dining side if you want a more quiet dining experience. The service has been very good, the beer selection is extensive, and the food is above average. I have had the "Breakfast burger", tenderloin, and BBQ chicken flat-bread. The burger and tenderloin were good, and the flat bread though it could be hotter, was tasty.

Great staff and atmosphere. John (the owner) and his team are doing a great job and making that location a "go to" spot for that area. The food is awesome. If you go, you have to try the boneless chicken wings. They are the best boneless chicken wings I have ever had.

This was a mixed bag for me...I'd give it a 2.5 overall. We walked into the left side of the restaurant and the music was way too loud, so we went to the right side. There is no longer a bar and stage, so I assume the days of seeing live music in there are over. This is now the "family" side of the restaurant, which isn't normally my choice, but it was quiet enough to hold a conversation so we stayed. We tried a few mixed drinks - the Long Island was good, the martini was lacking, and the Blackberry Whiskey Smash was tasty, but there wasn't a lot of liquid in the glass in addition to all of the ice. The burger patty was really good; they've got a great mix of three types of meat, according to the menu. Our fries were too salty and I'm not sure if the boneless wings were also too salty or if it was a leftover taste from the fries. The boneless wings were decent, nothing to write home about. I also ordered a cup of chili and was apparently charged an extra dollar for a bit of sour cream, despite never being given a choice in the matter. The chili is pretty good, but a bit too sweet for me. Our server was very friendly and she seemed to genuinely love the restaurant. I may give it another try in the future when they've settled in more, but without the live music aspect there's not anything to make me choose this place over another.
