This is an eccentric, foodie heaven. Do you like eggs Benedict? They have several kinds. You can make your own scramble. The artwork and chairs really make this place though. No seat is the same and everything is charming. Perfect attention from staff. I would give a higher score if possible.
Ruth's is a gem! They've always made me feel at home. Their menu is solid and their decor is fascinating and wonderful, kinda like PeeWee's Playhouse.
The other day, at the Star Wars-themed countertop, I told my waitress, I can't decide between your veggie scramble or your brioche French toast. She says, you can get a 1/2 order of the French Toast with your scramble.
Perfection!
This is my all time favorite breakfast establishment. I always go with “the scrambled special” that is hand written on the chalk board. My favorite so far is the red pesto, feta cheese scramble with caramelized red onions. The decor is festive with the wall hangings with quotes to buy for your kitchen or home. The tables are decoupage made by the owner, who is usually on hand. My favorite table by the glass window in the back. The Lamps are unique; including drums, colanders you name it. The unmatched place settings make me feel right at home, along with the coffee which is to die for! If by any chance you have room for more, choose the Swedish potato pancakes!
Creative, filling, fresh and flavorful — Ruth’s is everything a great breakfast should be. Whether I want a big weekend breakfast or just a quick pastry with a cup of tea, we stop in whenever we’re in the area. I also love the kitschy vibe. A truly great local find.
This place is adorable!! Absolutely loved it. Food was fantastic. The pancakes are truly huge so get ready to take some home. Loved the selection of teas including seasonal. Will be coming back. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because it is cramped. Felt we were having breakfast with the tables on either side of us.
