I love this place! My husband and I love going out for sushi every once in a while, and the food here is consistently delicious every time! Friendly staff as well!
The very best sushi in the city, by far. Staff and quality is world class
Edit: Added pictures of the Miso soup and the Louisiana Roll. Top notch.
Among all of the other sushi bars in Indianapolis I've sampled, Ocean World remains my favorite. The quality and variety of sushi available are superior, and the price is excellent. Surprisingly pleasant for this holiday season is the availability of gift cards for my friends and family.
If you're looking to introduce someone new to sushi, try a box meal. It has the perfect combination of cooked/raw fish with delicious tempura vegtables/shrimp. For the more seasoned palette, I would recommend experimenting with a combination of the rolls they offer.
I've brought many a novice friend here and managed to convert them to sushi lovers with the deliciousness of this establishment. Kudos!
Best sushi in Indianapolis in my opinion. Never disappointed when eating here. This time I had the Chirashi bowl, which is a bowl of various sashimi (raw) fish served over rice (pictured) and it was delicious and a ton of food. My only complaint would be that sometimes the service is a little slow, and it can be a bit pricey for sushi, but you get what you pay for. If you want to experience next level Sushi give Ocean World a try.
Excellent quality sushi and great service. The rolls here tend to be a bit larger than less expensive places, which is overall a good thing, but order appropriately. My wife and I normally destroy 5-6 sushi rolls, sometimes more, but we took home leftovers in a box.
