MCL Restaurant & Bakery Castleton

Food and service was good yet out of mac and cheese for a few min unless wanting to wait (it must be good but understandable being out for the time being) so I had the roast beef slices, 2 sides of mashed potatoes and gravy, soda and 2 strawberry shortcakes (highly recommend the strawberry shortcake) bill was $22 which seems on the expensive side

I got the pecan pie for my dessert. It was 99 cent Thursday for the pie of the week. I got chicken wrapped over stuffing. Mashed potatoes with chicken gravy. And some green bean casserole. A dinner roll that was very soft. And a Pepsi. Oh! And some deviled eggs. The staff was quick and very helpful. The bathrooms we're clean. However I only had a credit card and no cash for a tip for our waiter. We felt very unsettling when we went to the cashier and asked for change for a twenty and they told us that they couldn't give us change unless we bought a gift card. So we left the waiter a tip with some change of coins that we had between the two of us. I would recommend this location cause they are in a good neighborhood. Also because the price is not too bad.

MCL is a place you come to if you're looking for comfort food that is descent quality for great prices. It is cafeteria style and there are a ton of options to choose from. They offer many entrees, salads, desserts and drinks. Service is always friendly. I would definitely recommend this location.
