The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers

I'm updating my review from years ago from two stars to five stars! My first experience wasn't the best but they have really stepped up their game! The food, lattes, and cakes have always been amazing! Kyle, Kyle, Kyle......hands down the BEST waiter ever. It's been a running joke because he seems to always be our bday waiter on three separate occasions, now I ask for him and wouldn't want it any other way. He really makes the experience of the Cake Bake Shop top notch!!!

Excellent!! This is the best place to celebrate a special event. I came here from New York visiting a dear friend. We had the most memorable time together. The food, the atmosphere and service were top notch. Great experience and highly recommend.

Very good food!! It's hard to go in and sit down in a timely manner, so make sure to make a reservation ahead of time! All the cakes, pies, and cookies are fabulous! The atmosphere makes dining there really enjoyable.

Its everything you've heard about and more.
Very sophisticated,elegant,yet completely relaxing and enjoyable.
Our server was amazing,very informed,ready to recommend hers as well as guest favorites.
Answered all my questions (and I ask plenty sorry to say)!! Even gave us the history of how this became a local favorite and how people like Paula Dean and Oprah came to raise such high praise.
A must try....

Atmosphere is beautiful, and lattes are exceptional! I like how neat everything is, and I even compared it to Disney world. The staff was very kind and helpful. Alongside of that, everything is VERY overpriced for how mediocre/hard the desserts were. Not necessarily fresh. You're basically paying for the experience/atmosphere.
