Kona Jack's Restaurant, Fish Market & Sushi Bar

I've only gone once but I thought the place was awesome! Darrel was such a great server and the atmosphere was easy on the imagination. I got the oysters for an appetizer but I saw someone else get the calamari and i wish I had got that. The calamari looked huge; like onion rings. I also got a lobster tail and their seafood Alfredo. The lobster tail was pretty good and definitely well priced, I payed 24 for a 5 oz. It comes with a candle warmed dipping butter which looked nice. The pasta was so so good and creamy. Desert was amazing too!
Pretty great place and I would love to go all the time but I'm not rich unfortunately.

I met a friend here for dinner and drinks and we liked it. The Daddy Jack's side isn't as roomy as the Kona Jack's side and due to the lack of windows, the lighting isn't as great. Perfect for an intimate spot though. We both ordered the Ruby Ribs and they were absolutely perfect!!! They were flavorful and tender and enough to take half of them home. The green beans and side salad were good too but those ribs were on point. And the price wasn't bad either. Plan on $30-$50 per person including drinks. I'm going again before this week!

Well this is truly a hidden gem....we are usually not fans of heading to strip mall to have a rare date night but friends convinced us we would love it here. And yep they were right! The atmosphere was awesome - similar to and Irish or and English pub! It even has a proper bar!! We had delicious cocktails and even more delicious food! I would highly recommend. Can't wait to come back!!

The food was fabulous and the service was superb! We had a large party (15 people). They were on top of getting our orders out within a reasonable amount of time and keeping our drinks filled. We ordered sushi, clams, shrimp, and various delicious varieties of fish. It all came out cooked just right! They do not skimp on the alcohol of their cocktails, which I appreciate! We LOVE Kona Jacks! Cannot say enough good things about it.

This is one of my favorite, locally-owned restaurants! Have eaten here over 20 years. The fish is always, always fresh. Tonight my server was Mercedes, and she gave superb service. The house salad with soy ginger dressing is yummy, as is the chocolate cake. My mixed drink was made exactly right. I highly recommend locally-owned and loved Kona Jacks/ Daddy Jacks, on the north side of Indianapolis, south of I-465 on the east side of Meridian Street. Yummy, Yummy!
