The Dining Room at RH Indianapolis

We had a reservation, and we had to wait an additional 15-20 mins. While you wait, you can tour the place, which makes it nice. Then, when we were seated, it took an additional 10 mins for someone to come to the table. The waiter was delightful. The food was good but overpriced. The dining area was freezing, which in turn makes your food get cold faster.

Amazing Experience at the RH Dining Room! Delicious food, fantastic service from Jackie and Misty and gorgeous decor. Everything from the server’s smiles to the table settings to the background music was absolutely lovely and made us feel like royalty. We will definitely return with our family and friends.

We have been excited to try RH out and made reservations in Dec for the first available spot in January, which was a lunch reservation.

The food was better than I thought it was going to be based on reviews. We shared the Artisanal Prosciutto Board. (wouldn’t get this again - a couple grapes were old and weathered) I had the RH Burger and my partner had the Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich. We didn’t think the prices were out of place for the food. Heck, any other place worth going and you’re paying a similar price or within a few bucks. So yes, you’re paying to eat in the ambiance as well and we don’t have a problem with that. Jackie was our server and she was wonderful! Great pacing for a lunch visit and she kept popping up just at the right time.

We toured the grounds after and it was lovely. My singular complaint is that both our seats had crumbs and debris on them when we sat down. Yuk! But I know that’s an easy miss but still yucky.

Kind service, good food, beautiful atmosphere. The wine bar was great while our table was being prepped, and walking the grounds was perfect post-meal.

The new RH Indianapolis at the DeHaan estate is stunning! The estate was beautiful, from the drive in and up to the entrance. Inside, there is a wine bar to the left, main dining room in the center, and showrooms to the right.

The house looks massive, but you'll find once inside that it feels a lot smaller. Initially walking in, it is confusing where to go but staff was helpful to direct us. The wine bar has a good selection and a beautifully designed space to sit in.

The dining experience was a touch odd. The food looked and smelled good, and servers were always around to assist. However, the dining area nestled between the two wings of the estate meant that people were forced to cross through the middle of the room to get to the other side of the house. This makes for an awkward situation for both guests and diners.

The pricing was alright, but seemed a bit strong. Luckily, if you drop $5k on a couch here, a $200 dinner won't make a huge difference.

Overall, the estate and private lake is amazing to see on its own. The new collection and unique showroom experience definitely makes RH Indianapolis worth a visit!
