Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Clermont Dairy Queen is just ok in my humble opinion. I ordered Vanilla malts and they were actually quite good according to my husband. For myself I ordered Mint Oreo Blizzard's and had to take them back both times because there was just a hint of mint. If I wanted plain Oreo Blizzard's that's what I would have ordered. They remade both of them but still wasn't satisfactory. Don't know if they're trying to save money on the mint flavoring, but damn. You no longer can get a cherry in your malt and you have to ask for whipped cream. I realize this isn't the end of the world, but it's just more norms gone. Go to the Brownsburg D.Q. it's just better.

It's pretty much your standard Dairy Queen. The staff is friendly and young (most likely high school kids; nothing wrong with that, most DQ's are staffed similarly). They usually have specials so make sure to check their signs. I've never received an incorrect order here and they are usually pretty quick.

Also, the hours posted here are incorrect, I've tried to "suggest an edit" multiple times but it has yet to be corrected. Most days are 11am-9pm NOT 11am-9am... They are NOT open all hours of the night even past most bar's closing times of 3am, I wish for anyone reading this that they realize that before heading out at 230am for a blizzard...

This DQ is one of the longest standing around. Always up-to-date, and always very clean. Food is always fresh, and employees are always super nice. This is a great place to eat and cook down with some refreshing ice cream. 5/5, been eating here for 15+ years.

Nothing like a cold cone after a hot day's work in the sun.
