El Pastorcito

I love this place! I lived in Mexico 18 years so I have a great appreciation for good Mexican food (especially sinaloa/sonora). El pastorcito does mole poblano to die for, sizzling fajitas (not a personal favorite but Americans love them), good pozole, etc. Not much decor, but it's the real deal. Highly recommend.

Oh my goodness this is good! Wouldn't know about if we weren't staying nearby. Al Pastor burrito was huge and filled with delicious marinated pork strips. The steak tacos were fresh and very good. Dont be turned off by the shopping center, this is as authentic as you can get east of the Mississippi. Will return next time in Indy.

Absolute best Mexican restaurant on the west side of Indianapolis. Most of the waitresses are very nice. Unless it's the blond haired girl, she is horrible At Your Service unless you're a man. She is literally served me and my husband before and serve me with a dirty cup and him a clean one. I can't tell if it's jealousy or racism. All the other waitresses though are absolutely fabulous.
