El Corcel Mexican Restaurant

My wife and I visit Mexico 3 or 4 times every year... THIS little place is right out of the Guide Book to amazing food (my creation). It's authentic and warm. Friendly staff, good prices. We'll be back!

My Family love the food here. But I sorry to say that I don't think we can go back. We are a family of 5 and the bill was $65 before the tip. We just can't afford that. I think there were some misunderstandings like we asked if the kids drinks were included and my guess is that we were charged. We got things like the large cheese dip for $6+ but after that I don't know what happened. My kids all ordered off the kids menu. It might have been the alterations like making the kids quesadilla have chicken. I'm trying to be fair to some nice folks. I normally tip 20% but did a little less out of shock and we paid $77 for the total amount. We can't afford that. Sad day.

My colleagues and I went to lunch at El Corcel today. We were greeted by happy faces and prompt attention. The restaurant is clean and has a comfortable feel to it. Chips and salsa hit the table almost immediately, and our order was taken. The food is good! We didn't wait long and we were all enjoying our meal. I would recommend this spot if you like good service and good food at a very good price.

We love this place. Always friendly service, great prices, food is good and quick. A hidden gem.

Tasty food! Friendly staff! It's a pretty small space and can easily be full for lunch. Prices for lunch and soda total about $10. The menu is varied but dinner prices are significantly higher than lunch.
