Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Burger was very average underwhelming nothing special. I was excited to try it but it’s probably about as good as a Steak N Shake. I might even pick that over this. Not much flavor I don’t see myself coming back. Five guys is a thousand times better. The tenders I didn’t expect anything from I just wanted to try them. They tasted like any fast food tenders not great. Good enough to kill your hunger but that’s about it.

Very clean. Burgers were great. But they were out of onion rings.☹️

Also I ordered a strawberry shake and I got chocolate custard with strawberries. When I said that was not what I ordered, they said, " we don't have strawberry shakes." But it's on the menu. I'm not sure they know what a shake is.

Visited this past Saturday evening after an Indian's game pulled into the restaurant around 10:30 not really that busy inside with the 45 cars at the drive up. Ordering was easy although yet the young lady at the register single a bit flustered. Mention to her to take a deep breath. The dining room was clean. The back area in the kitchen that I saw was quite messy all the way understand that they were probably slammed all day long as you can see that when you pass by this place. Some of the to go items weren't stocked but no big deal. I'm in the business so I understand those things late evening. Custard machine was broken or out of order. The young cashier did give us a card for a free cone or a cup which was really nice thank you. Took maybe 10 minutes for the food to come out a crispy chicken sandwich with fries and I had a Patty melt. Is fries for nice and crisp. Julie had a crispy chicken sandwich with pickles and I believe mayonnaise. I had a Patty melt. To me it seems a little bit too smashed as it was more crispy than juicy. Is always good though. Manager dropped by for a few minutes and spoke with us very nice young lady. Welcome to Speedway hope everything goes well can't wait for to slow down for you guys.

This place is busy but they have it going on! It must be a good place to work, all the employees were working together and had smiling faces! Their food is like Steak n Shake, only better and they are way faster and it's very clean! Their custard is really good too!
