Z & C Teriyaki & Sushi Restaurant

It's cheap and fast! The teriyaki chicken is great!

Love getting the chicken bowl w. the spicey mayo! Bathroom needs some renovations but other than that, great place for quick lunch!

Z&C does one thing, and they do it well--serve Chinese and Japanese fare at lightning speed and a fantastic price point. For the size of the restaurant, they have a reasonable menu, too.

Full disclosure--I've never ordered anything but the teriyaki chicken bowl, so I can't really speak to the rest of the menu, but the chicken is good. I've also never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for my food, even with a line ahead of me. The only reason I don't have a 5 star rating for them is that the teriyaki sauce occasionally has a slight burnt sugar flavor to it. Just depends on who's grilling the chicken.

There's a reason why so many people love this place. I've been here only 3 times, but its one of my favorites because you get amazing food for such a low price. This is made even better considering the generous portions (and that of meat). Especially in comparison to other venues for Asian cuisine in Bloomington. Keep an eye out for their specials and you wont be disappointed. Z&C is amazing and the only downside is that there arent more locations!
