    Food is good but inconsistent at times. Specially al pastor tacos. I still go get my taco fix here tho!

    It may not have a lot of items in the grocery part but the restaurant is very good and everything is made fresh.

    I went today for the Menudo. As a Chicano, this place has the best Mexican food. The Menudo reminds me of home. They only serve it on Sunday! Also, they have an updated menu with new items. I will upload the menu to this review. Please note, that there are items not on the menu! Ask the waitress for daily specials.

    La Bonita is the only Mexican place in Bloomington that I will go. I grew up in Southern California and I have Standards(tm) for Mexican food. Tucked in in back of a great little market, La Bonita the restaurant serves the closest thing to the Mexican food I ate growing up. This is truly a hidden gem of Bloomington!
