Steak 'n Shake

Pretty slow. If you're not going through the drive through, be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes to get your food after you order, especially late at night. I've also had some issues with my orders. 3 stars instead of 2 because they comped me a replacement sandwich when they forgot the bacon on my original (normally I wouldn't care, but I only ordered it because I wanted the bacon), but the last time I went, when I got home I found the sandwich falling apart in the wrapping, and the cheese pulled the sandwich wrap apart.

For fast food this particular location is excellent. Busiest in the state. Prices are reasonable until you add the tip. Fries are always cold and shakes are small. Who puts ranch on a taco salad?
They don't fill the chili bowl. Very friendly staff.

Amazing burgers. A good joint for wholesome breakfast at a low price. And the shakes are must-try. I've tried almost all of them????

Everything was great. The waitress was friendly but not overly friendly. coffee was good. It was nice break from making my own breakfast.

Ate at the East side location today. My daughter and I each had one of their $4 meals. She had a triple cheese burger and fries; I had the single cheese burger and onion rings. Both fresh and made to order. The service was great. Food was delicious. Price was great. Restaurant was clean.
