Sweet Grass Modern Southern Kitchen

I've enjoyed Sweet Grass as great place for a refreshing change of cuisine. The staff are always really nice and the space is nice and open. The menu has limited vegetarian options BUT substituting the veggie burger works for a lot of fun burger combinations. The cotija fries are my favorite and you can always count on Sweet Grass to have a good draft/cocktail menu!

Hands down one of the best places to eat in Bloomington. Every time I have visited I eat something that blows my mind. I am a huge fan of their Apple Vinaigrette, it really is probably one of the best salad dressings I've had in my life and I make it a point to get a salad with that dressing every time I go. Last time we went, we had an especially great experience. Our server--I think his name was Alec--was awesome. Not a single thing I had to complain about. Our food was great all around and anything we needed was taken care of immediately. I did try the Gouda Grits last time, which was a first for me. They are actually VERY good!! I highly recommend adding them to any brunch entree. They also have a really nice outdoor area for patio seating.

EAT AT SWEETGRASS. This place is one of a kind. They have seating for large or small groups groups, intimate dates, or a day on the patio! Brunch was great as well! Service was A1, what up Alec?!? I will be back and I strongly recommend you check it out!

Went for my birthday dinner last night and I was blown away! I have not been to Sweet Grass since I was 12 (for my birthday as well), I was so surprised and happy. Our waiter which I do not know how to spell his name (he was new) young, African American gentleman was the best waiter I've ever had- we even hugged before we left! He went out of his way to make the experience special. Great food, live music and wonderful environment.
