They are such great people and the food tasted really well. Also, moving up from the southwest, I appreciate the tacos. I highly suggest trying the carnitas!
Having moved to Bloomington from the West Coast (where great Mexican food is abundant), this is the only Mexican restaurant here that has managed to satisfy my craving. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, the food is flavorful, and the service is friendly and fast. They're also vegetarian-friendly; their rice is cooked without chicken broth, and their black beans (available upon request) are free of lard.
