Great Mexican food in Chesterton! The waitress was very friendly. We got seated quickly and the food was served promptly. Free chips and salsa we're great, though it would be better if the chips were house made not store bought. The menu was simple and not confusing like some restaurants. The food tasted great and is portioned perfectly. Would recommend to anyone.

Love coming here. Staff is great! Service is a little slow depending on the night but staff makes up for it definitely!

Very friendly people. Was greeted and constantly asked if I was helped, even by the bartender. Wasnt a patron for myself at the time, was picking up for for someone else BUT it was made fresh, still very warm and I got to sample some and it was delicious!!! I will definitely be revisiting this place soon!

I never like when a waitress calls my husband honey! The food was good though. All waitresses should learn how to serve appropriately.

I love the atmosphere at El Cantarito! The decor is beautiful and the mural is really something to see. The food is always delicious and priced just right. Whether you bring your family or your friends, the staff adjusts accordingly and provides the service you need.
