Yellow Tavern

I have been a YT fan for years. Great pizza and sandwiches, breadpudding, and more. They have tables for two, four and larger groups. It is the kind of place where you can comfortably join total strangers at one of the bigger tables.

The food is outstanding, especially the pizza! A little pricey but well worth it. CASH only but atm available.

Great food! The fish sandwich and fries are my favorite. When I want to rotate, I go for the fresh patted burger or hot ham & cheese and of course with fries. It's a huge serving of fries and I never get to consume all of it. Also grab the sweet tea. They use sugar water for the drinks.

A nice atmosphere to get your drink on if you're staying overnight in New Harmony. Love the little pig outside the establishment, and the bar is spacious (plenty of breathing room). Feels like an Old West type of environment.

Friendly, quick service, but i'm not a fan of the pizza. It really tastes like the sauce needs a little something more, and the crust overpowers everything else on the pizza. The crust and sauce just isn't there for me. A little pricey as well (think I paid 12 something for a 9 inch) which you could easily get a large at Papa Johns for that price (if there were one nearby). Don't get me wrong, I think this pizza would go good with a crisp cold beer, but if you're not drinking, there's no wow factor to the pizza. I would eat this pizza again with a cold light beer, otherwise I probably won't go back unless I was absolutely craving pizza and staying at New Harmony Inn. Also note, they do not take credit cards, only cash (which is a $3.00 fee to use their atm).

Nice, small town tavern. Delicious food and friendly staff. Fast service. Would definitely recommend!
