Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I've been stopping at this Cracker Barrel since they built it. It's got a great spot that makes it convenient to stop and eat before heading into or out of the Louisville metro area. They have a pretty reliable menu that with minor changes over the years has been a great way to travel and still have home-ish style cooked meal. True to form, this stop was enjoyable for the whole family.

I'm a regular Cracker Barrel customer when I travel because the food is always good at an affordable price. This location is no exception. They even went the extra mile by bringing us out extra okra because they thought that the serving that came out with my friend's meal wasn't up to their standards. He and I both had all the okra that we wanted and it was all good.

Typical Cracker Barrel with decent service. The steak (country boy breakfast) was a bit tough but it's not steakhouse so I didnt have high expectations. If you like Cracker Barrel, like I do, you won't regret it. Good value for the cost.

Just like any other Cracker Barrel. You have the little store as well as the amazing food that they serve at the restaurant. I recently try there no fried chicken and I lost it. I will definitely go back and order the sack same Fried Chicken because it was amazing. Also there was a lot of food on my plate so I filled out my stomach by the end of the night. The variety on drinks it's great. However I am very simple so I ordered sweet iced tea and the server was very kind to bring lots and lots of lemons for me to put on my iced tea which I like.

Sunday after church. It was busy to say the least. For just 3 the wait was less than 10 minutes. Our server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. She did a great job considering how busy they were. Food was there fairly quickly, hot and fresh.
