Roadhouse USA

They are over priced but the food was good. Be sure to get a booth because the seats on the tables are very hard and uncomfortable. I can't say I was impressed but I can't say I was disappointed either. It was just ok for me.

We thought we would like to have Pizza hut across the street from the Roadhouse, but what we saw in the Pizza hut while walking in was a big turn off, sign says wait to be seated, so we stood there for a bit until the cashier said sit where we would like, every booth was dirty, not kidding, the tables were un-wiped along with the seats so the "cleanest booth" we picked was still covered with food /dishes and cups left from previous diners but seats were half way clean, so we sat down expecting to be greeted by a waitress to clear the table, 10 minutes later, nobody, place was a sty so we left and nobody on staff said a word! Soooooo we hoped in the truck, drove across the street to Roadhouse USA, thank goodness for them, very friendly waitresses, timing on service was perfect! The meals were delicious at very reasonable prices, just need to say if your looking across the street at the pizza hut, steer your vehicle into the Roadhouse and eat there, you will be happy you did!

Traveling thru and jonesing for some wings and the ordered a salad with steak... it was okay but not memorable. Service was good. Not a substitute for Texas Roadhouse by any means. Seemed clean. Would try elsewhere if I stop again at this exit...

Sat at the bar here, the staff was very polite, weren't over bearing, had the ribeye and lobster tail, first place in Indiana I have run across that actually did the lobster tail correctly, the butter sauce was too thick but I easily fixed that myself, ordered the steak medium, but I think they try to cook it at too high of a grill setting because about 90% of the steak was perfect, had to cut out a couple of very small purple uncooked spots, but the seasoning on the "natural" steak is phenomenal, excellent taste, I think if they took a few more minutes and cooked the steak at a lower heat it wouldn't have had the small raw portion. The bake potato was done right and the veggies were fresh. I would come back again, I'm very big on steak, if it would have been fully cooked it would have been a 5 star review from me, I definitely recommend this place if you need to stay in the area
