Portillo's Hot Dogs

First time visitor and I was not disappointed. Service was fast, cashier was friendly, and portions were decent. My thing is everyone talked about this place like it was God's gift to food and I was only slightly impressed. I could have gotten my meal anywhere and it probably would have been cheaper and better.

Food was excellent. The staff were helpful and very friendly. I will definitely eat there again. They are a little pricey, but overall a great place.

Jam packed and food was good, but not worth the half hour drive. I DID like the cucumber chopped into cubes that was in my salad. The chicken strips were normal chicken strips. The dipped beef sandwich tasted fine. It wasn't bad, but I don't get all the hype...unless people are excited that you can also get shakes and / or beer there.

Cool atmosphere and decent food for the price. Definitely want to go back and try other stuff.

To give an update, we met my daughter and her boyfriend here for dinner last night and we've been a few times in between. Have not been disappointed with the food yet and their chocolate cake is to die for. It definitely has a different vibe to it but it's really cool for a change. Definitely recommend stopping by.

It's really big and very busy. The atmosphere is loud and fast paced. This is a good place to take the kids and not worry about them being "too loud" within consideration. The food was really good and affordable. There are also adult beverages if interested. The design and layout is really modern with a retro feel. Really good place to go eat. The staff was nice and approachable if you need anything. We will definitely be going back.
