Definitely a local gem. If you love BBQ, or even like it a little, you'll love this place. Everything is made in store, smoked in store, and it tastes fantastic. Some of the best pulled pork I've had ever, and everything else was great too. They run out of food quick it seems. Not only because it's a good price for what you get, but also because it's hand prepared and smoked for 36 hours they said! Definitely check this place out. I haven't had everything, but everything I've had was amazing.
Great BBQ and service. They have plenty of sauces to choose from for their food. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I had the pulled pork and smoked wings, both were excellent. It's a small place and cozy. The food came to the table 5 minutes after I ordered. Very impressed and I highly recommend checking it out!
Stopped in on Sunday for lunch around 1:30 p.m. We got the last 5 wings and they were nice and crispy. Also ordered the pulled pork and brisket with fries and mac and cheese. Everything was very good. The fries were a great addition to the menu. Sauces are still awesome. Glad to have great barbecue back in our area. Wish they were closer to Michigan again!Update: Drove over all the way from Michigan today and they were sold out by 3:00! They experienced the same issue consistently at the Niles location. Was really hoping for a change . For this reason I'm lowering my review to 3 stars.
So, so good! A more creative BBQ spot, but it still has the classic and they're amazing.
The jalapeno poppers are a cut above any others I've tried. The corn bread is full or flavor and extra fluffy. They use brioche buns, which compliment their amazing smoked meats much better than the plain white bread many places serve it on.
I love the sauce selection and that they have a changing sauce of the moment.
My one beef would be with the wall benches that I know are left over from 114. They weren't comfortable then, they're not comfortable now. But at least they didn't keep thos horrible metal seats. The new ones are perfectly comfy.
Another plus, table service. You won't be maneuvering around other diners to get your food.
