I gave it a better rating than perhaps I should have. The food was for the most part good. The chicken wings were the size of my pinky finger. And the mac and cheese was more plain than a bottle of water. Aside from that, the young lady who runs the place I think her name is Melanie,was very helpful and kind. It is not in the nicest of neighborhoods, and I never even knew it was there. All in all I give it 4 stars simply because I think there is potential there and I am excited to try new things on the menu. Remember you get what you pay for oh, so if you're going for Value that's what you're going to get. I recommend trying the Philly cheesesteak lasagna that was one of the several things I had and that by far was the best.

Friendly staff and atmosphere

The food is like going back home, like Chicago Style fresh cooked food, my type of place to eat.

This was my first time at the restaurant. I walked in and ordered a pork chop sandwich and fries for lunch. I did not expect to wait for 45 minutes to get such a small order. The lady at the counter was pleasant, the establishment is very clean, and the prices are reasonable, but, don't expect to get your food quickly unless you order ahead. While I waited 4 orders were picked up. I was not happy with the wait..........at all.

I also was prepared for an actual pork chop sandwich. What I got was a grilled piece of Texas toast, a pork chop, and steak fries. It tasted good, but, I thought that I was getting something a little different.

Cute little restaurant with yummy diner-type food! They are also open quite late & deliver thru Grub Hub (just in case ya have a 10pm late night comfort food craving & wanna stay home????✌????).
