Java Cafe

This place is great! People always helpful and friendly. Awesome music and super cool atmosphere! Food is good and coffee is tasty!

Now, this is some next level stuff right here. First the place is so cool. It's modern with a rock and roll vibe. The food is awesome. I'm partial to the eggs Benedict. The BOWL OF SOUL coffee is a must try. I get it every time.

Excellent coffee and food. Terrible music: thumping hard rock played at a very loud volume, every time I go. Everyone there is trying to work on their laptops or have a conversation. And I've heard others complain. It's not at all the ambience of a place that should be a quiet spot for coffee and work downtown.

My sister was in town from Michigan and this cafe was just a hop, skip and a jump down the street from her hotel so we went there for breakfast. I had a ham and egg scramble and a large Mexican hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was delicious and so was the scramble.
When I read the menu, it said the scramble used two eggs. I thought it would be skimpy but it was quite the opposite and very filling.
It came with toast a little bit of fruit and a cute little jar of jam for the toast.
The ladies behind the counter were super friendly and professional. I would definitely revisit the next time I'm downtown.

While doing a book tour in the area I stayed at a hotel close to this coffee shop and it was so great I went there 3 out of the 4 mornings I was here.

The coffee and breakfasts were great, nice atmosphere great service.

My uncle was with me each time and we were able to sit for hours each morning to plan our days while enjoying their great coffee cup after cup - I really love this place and wish I had a coffee shop life this where I live. I will go back anytime I'm staying in downtown south bend.
