The Lauber

Really enjoyed our dinner here tonight. Food was excellent and a great selection of craft beer. Can't wait to check out their patio when the warmer weather finally arrives. Definitely a stand out in SB.

Love the Lauber. Saturday night there kitchen wasn't on. Shared the prime melt tasty but not hot and cold fries. Suggest the tin pie plates could be warned before serving the food. Otherwise, great servers and service. Will return soon.

This is a great addition to the restaurant tapestry that has become downtown South Bend. The food is great, the staff is awesome and are always friendly. The only recommendation that I have is for the owners to invest in some sound bats. The place gets a little loud at times and it’s hard to talk to others at the tables when it’s busy. We’ve noticed that this happens in a lot in new places. Great restaurant!

First time having pizza here I was impressed. Our service was excellent and the ingredients are fresh! Right down to the parmesan cheese in the shakes chilled and fluffy. The sauce was good but not over powering, and the crust was tasty with a crunch but not burnt! Great flavor overall and I will be going back! The atmosphere here is modern and uplifting while preserving the historic value of the buildings past! Well done thank you for a great pizza experience!

Great beer selection on tap and in bottles and cans. Food is great. Atmosphere is lively but still relaxed enough to have a conversation with the party you are with. The menu offers a little bit of everything. Enjoyed a pizza, it was fantastic. Not a negative thing to say about this place. Give The Lauber a try.
