Timbuktoo's

While driving across the state, this was a surprisingly good find just off the highway. The food was unique and on point, as was our waitress. Would definitely go back.

I loved it. Had absolutely great dinner. Had a crab cake on a portabello mushroom. Was super ????! Was 11.99. Had great service as well!

Friendly Midwestern diner with a bar and solid drink selection.

Cheeseburger soup, mashed red potatoes were great. Ahi tuna came with a sweet wasabi coleslaw. Tuna was a steak, at medium rare was a little chewy, but good. Good amount for the quality.

A lot of liquor, decent selection of beer and wine, four beers on tap. Two domestic, two craft.

Environment is clean. Decor is a hodgepodge of stuff - some tasteful items, some outdated furniture, some miscellaneous pictures. Feels a little crowded due to the arrangement of the seating, but I had plenty of room.

Waitress Lisa was personable, friendly, and courteous.

No jukebox. Played a lot of mainstream rock fitting for a Midwestern restaurant.

I would go back if in the area.

Started out great ordered quickly got our soups & salads right away then we sat for over an hr and waited for our food when they finally gave us our meal it was cold. We did get the meals credited off and went to Arby's. We might try again in the future because what we did eat was very good.

This is a 5 star experience EVERY time we come here. Service is awesome, the food is second to none. Lisa always personally greets us. I will dine here every time I'm in Fremont.
