    I am not sure how to rate a winery. Do you rate them on the wine, or on the place itself and the service?

    If you rate them on the wine, and they give you a lot of tastings I think every Winery will get 5 stars.

    Greg met us at the door. He's a friendly guy and had answers to any question we had about the wine or the area.

    There are quite a few different Berry and grape wines to choose from. My personal favorite was the Blackberry bourbon. It is a blackberry wine that is aged in old bourbon barrels for 3 months before being bottled. The Ridge Winery may not be in Kentucky but it is just across the river.

    Speaking of the river, there is a deck overlooking the Ohio River where you can sit out and enjoy some wine along with an awesome view.

    I do recommend this place if you find yourself in the area.
