Steak 'n Shake

So I've had various experiences here. Today was one of the best. Yes they were getting busy for lunch, everyone is moving but not quite swamped yet.
I tried to order at the drive thru but they couldn't do something (someone else did last time but they weren't supposed to in drive thru)
I will say I am pleased to witness that cook you have on lunch today 8/5/19 in action. He came over and got a gentleman his chili right away and took my order swapping for someone else to take the cash so he could get gloves on and get cooking. Once he cleared the grill with shocking efficiency he turned around and ensured I got my missed drinks and got them correct.
I don't know what you pay him but he needs a raise! He was doing the jobs of multiple people effectively and efficiently while being polite and personable.

Good place to get a quality burger. Service and fast and staff was friendly. The food filled me up and was made with quality products.

It was very busy like always. I was in a hurry too so I forgot to say I want everything on my burger but the cashier did not ask me what would I like on my burger either. So it has nothing on it except for cheese. Everytime I've gone there before they ask "What would you like on your Steak Burger?" But not this time.

Late night stop while traveling. They have a new prime burger that I tried. That thing was good!! Service and manager was real nice helpful. Good conversation with them. Only problem, my daughter said she couldn't use the wash room because it was very dirty.
