Dog n Suds

Used to love eating here when I lived in Lafayette! Especially loved the deep fried mushrooms! I just wish the ones in Tennessee were still open!

This place is a huge hit in Lafayette. I love this place, too. Since I don't eat meat, I don't go here more than once a year. I go just often enough to forget how little I can get here.

Now this is one of those places I always get so excited once they finally open for the season. I received excellent service from my waitress Elizabeth. The food was brought out rather quickly considering every spot was taken up when I arrived there, it was about an 8 minute wait. Which is great timing for the lunch rush hours, definitely recommend.

Love this place. I just randomly pick stuff off the menu cause it's all good. This is the place I take my family to when we want to break in a new car and eat in it the first time.

I've only been to Dog n Suds a few times, so my review should be taken as a grain of salt. The first time I went, it was good; Decent food at decent prices, service was fast and friendly. The last time, however, my order waS not as expected and they were only doing to-go orders (I'm assuming because they were busy) so we made sure to park elsewhere in the lot once we received our food. The service was slightly slower but still friendly. The food, other than the slight mess-up, was still decent, but nothing to write home about. Overall, Dog n Suds is a good place to grab a quick bite on a nice day with a cold root beer.
