La Chiquita

I went at 9:30 pm to get an elote and tostilocos. 10/10. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The owners were so happy and just so please to help. They laughed with my husband and I, and never once acted annoyed bc it was almost closing time.

These were the best tamales I've had since I moved here from California!

This is, by far, the best Mexican grocery store in town! The owner greets you warmly every time you walk thru the door. The store is clean and organized. It is one of the smallest stores, but has the best quality of produce! Prices are the best I've found as well. I bought a pound of a particular item for $3 here, but it was $6 at another local Mexican grocery. That's a huge difference. And I can't even begin to describe how delicious the carnitas and tamales are! We go in every week just to chat with the owner, try new foods, and buy some delicious deli items. We tell everyone we know about this great, little hidden gem!

Great service, owner is very nice and all the foods I tried were really delicious. Everything was so fresh, best elotes, mangoñadas, and ice cream I've ever had, and don't get me started on the carnitas & chorizo. Traveled all the way from Chicago for them, 100/10
