Triple XXX Family Restaurant

pretty decent food! i guess i was expecting alot more since it was talked about so much. the lady who waited on my family and I wasn't necessarily rude but she most definitely wasn't kind either. i was pretty disappointed because i really wasn't sure what the hype was all about. also paying in cash is kind of a hassle since most people don't carry it. there is an ATM though!

Stopped by to get lunch with out of town family who read about it since it is in a lot of travel guides, been on tv. Such a great diner. Bar stools along the counters, there are picnic tables outside with window ordering. Small, but awesome. Had burgers, fries and root beer and all I can say is yummy, yummy in my tummy!!

Excellent greasy spoon/diner style burger joint. Has a rich history behind both the building and the root beer they're famous for. The burgers were a decadent delight. Seating arrangement forces you to be elbow to elbow with those seated next to you, but that's part of the charm. Plenty of outdoor table seating. Located in West Lafayette, close to the Purdue campus and plenty of other food and drink establishments.

I can write an essay on how great root beer is and how delicious their peanut sauce burger is; but no, go try it its amazing! Just remember that one root beer has 50 grams of sugar or more and a burger itself is probably 750 calories. Oh and the curly fries come with honey and marshmallow fluff...

Went here late in the afternoon on a Friday. They weren't busy, we sat right away. The design on the interior is really cool and efficient. I got the breakfast special, it was good, came out fast, and was well priced. I have to mention that the bacon was crispy and really good. My girlfriend ordered the full biscuits and gravy and she was able to finish the whole thing. The sausage gravy was really tasty. We both also got root beers, which were so good. I'd definitely recommend trying this place if you haven't before, there's parking around back and the entrance is around back (my first time I came I tried to open the door on the street side which was locked, that was super embarrassing).
