Bowen Bistro

Chef Bowen was a gracious host, and our food was phenomenal from start to finish. The salad was fresh (and the dressing was divine), the main courses were beautifully prepared (and each offered subtleties that were delightful), and the desserts were splendid. We had been wanting to stop by for a while, and we were definitely NOT disappointed! We will absolutely be back to try more of the menu! Thank you, Chef Bowen!

Amazing restaurant! Service was amazing! Relaxed and brushed. Plenty of time to rest between courses without feeling like I was waiting too long. Chef Bowen was so friendly! My lobster bisque and truffle seafood linguine was delicious! I tried my husband salmon and it literally melted! The deserts are beautiful and just as tasty! We will definitely be back!

Gave this place try while we were in town. The scotch egg had a nice change from your typical scotch egg. The price was a little steep but it was a pretty big helping, enough to share with 2-4 people.

The salads need some work though. I am a huge fan of Caesars, but most likely wouldn't order it again. Dressing needs a more lift along with the croutons which could be made to order only takes a little time to heat and makes a big difference in my opinion. Overall it wasn't bad just would like to see a little more to this dish.

The wedge was much better but I would recommend to throw some pork belly that's been renders/crisped or some type of crispy bacon, could do a brown sugar one to help with the goronazola and you would have a really good salad.

The steak was very good one of the better ones I've had. I would specifically come back to get that strip steak. One improvement surprisingly (not the salsa which went well with the steak) is the removal of the asparagus or at least put a spin on it.

Would I return: yes it is definitely worth going back.

We have wanted to come here for a while, but have been unable to. We decided to get take out today and see if the food tasted as good as it looked and we were not disappointed. If the service, care, detail and delicate nature always is better when you dine in vs. take out, I can honestly say that I do not know how this food could be any better.

This food was amazing, the steak I got was perfectly cooked, amazing sear and incredibly tender. Lobster bisque was delicious and perfect, along with everything else we got tonight. I can not wait for our economic situation to get close to normal to enjoy everything inside the actual establishment.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed dinner here tonight and were beyond pleased with the experience. It was a very relaxed environment, especially being a Thursday evening while Purdue is not in session, but I believe the atmosphere would be calm and quiet any night. All of the food we ordered was amazing and portion sizes were not excessive. I had the Marsala chicken which was moist and delicious. My boyfriend had the salmon which had the most amazing crispy skin. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves food.
