“The day of the dead murals are great. The server we had and floor manager are very personable and seem to love their jobs. Wide selection of tequila and cocktails. Great selection of street tacos. My main critique is that there needs to be more filling given the price per taco. There is stiff competition out there and falling short. For example, get a taco at Taco Rico or Los Brazos. Their tacos are stuffed and using regular size corn tortillas instead of street taco size. No chips or salsa; you have to pay. I suggest a small portion of chips and salsa at least. As of this review there are two other taquerias opening soon in town. Shop the competition.”

“Decided we wanted what we dubbed a "Fancy Lunch". The Fowler House did not disappoint. The whole visit was an experience. Both inside and out are beautiful and spectacularly kept. The lunch menu is not massive but has several good selections for all types of appetites. I had Fish and Chips with the Cheesecake for dessert, my sister had The Grilled Cheese and White Chicken Chili with the Chocolate Mousse for dessert. We were so glad we decided to treat ourselves. Service was great. Our server was friendly and happy. Everyone we encountered who worked there seemed to genuinely enjoy being there.”

“Finally, a Freddy's on the east side of Lafayette! My son and I went on Thursday (their 2d day being open). It was quite busy, but not overly crowded. The food was just as good as I've come to expect. Wonderful hamburgers! Again (and if you've read some of my other reviews), it was the staff that I thought special, especially Aaliyah. Maybe, it was because they'd only been open two days. I highly doubt this. I believe the staff will always be as friendly as they were on Thursday, because they were having so much fun, even as busy as they were. It was a fun, enjoyable dinner. Congrats on your opening!”

“We stumbled upon Hunters after birthday plans fell through at another location. We showed up desperate for a table and not knowing how many people would even come. Hunters was able to seat us immediately and the staff was wonderful as our party grew and grew until we had a whopping 11 people show up. The staff even took a picture for us and brought us plates to eat a cake someone brought. Our server Jessie was amazing! The shake I ordered today was amazing Carmel Toffee Crunch and Candy Corn Tea with a Lift Off I was going to take a picture but I drank them so fast.
