Firehouse Subs

I love the italian sub and the variety of hot sauces available! Also love for what the company stands for :)

This was my first visit to firehouse subs. I had the New York Steamer. It was freaking awesome. Their process of steaming the meat and toasting the bread makes all the elements optimum. A little more money than some other sub shops, but you get what you pay for.

Wasn't too bad, however, service and cleanliness could have been better. It wasn't the best as I'm sure it could have been, they seemed a bit short staffed the day I am posting this, but the food was really good and they use the soda machine with the touch screen and many varieties, so that's pretty nice. I had their Italian Sub, and I really enjoyed it! Had plenty of ingredients on it in good portions and was full of flavor. Lots of flavors of hot sauces, but I wish they would keep this more organized and stocked. I saw a couple of flavors I would have liked to have tried, but were out. All in all, not a bad experience and would definitely give this place another try.

Good food. The only thing that didn't ma kim e my dining experience a pleasant one was the female that brought food to the table behind us, after the customer at the table picking up her sandwich and telling her it was wrong, a man came out from behind the counter and read the order. The customer said she had a small sandwich. The female employee picked up both the female customer's basket and her husband's and took them to another table. That was very disgusting.

Haven't eaten there in a while. Subs are very good. Got the turkey bacon ranch for me and the meatball sub for my wife. They are big portions. A little pricey though. I got a large sub for me and a large sub for my wife and a kid's sub for our 3 year old, made them all combos, and the total was almost $33. Their large sub is 2 meals for me though so. Only other thing was the cashier seemed pretty unpleasant and when I went up to ask for a to-go box, they handed me a paper sack to put our two, unwrapped subs in so I'm sure that will be a disaster for lunch tomorrow.
