Merry Go Round Restaurant

I judged a book by its cover and in the parking lot it might not seem like much. After entering, I noticed several elderly people eating here. And when I sat down I was looking around and noticed a sign saying "83rd birthday party" for the store (I think it said 83 if I remember correctly). I realized this place has been around for all of these people lives, and it warmed my heart to think about people eating at this place when they were kids and they are still eating it here. Anyway, I ordered a mac n cheese beef chilli bowl type dish, which was good. Then I ordered a "Mile High Strawberry Pie." Delicious, and a lot of whip cream! This restaurant has been around for long time, and it serves good food to long-time customers.

I love coming here. I remember coming here my entire life, starting with my grandma & yeah grandparents as well. Never been disappointed. I absolutely love the chicken n dumplings! There's always a lunch & dinner special menu with many different delicious options for entree's & so many mouth watering sides as well. Service is great & they always make you feel like you're family. Highly recommend!❤

This place is Awsome. The waitresses there are the best any where. Total team effort. The one who gets your drinks may be different than your server. Three different ladies attended my needs and did an outstanding job. The food is remarkable . Think home cooking goodness but with a price tag that won't kill ya. Great great place to eat.

Oh boy, you need to go if you haven’t. They get busy serving breakfast and lunch. But not to worry. The staff there are the best! The prices are more than reasonable. The food is good, coffee is good. In and out you go.

Stopped here for breakfast on the way back to Chicago after a road trip. What a satisfying meal to close the trip with! And the atmosphere made it even more memorable with all of the horses and merry go round decor. And very friendly staff!

We got the Steak & Eggs, Veggie Omelette, and Pancakes. Everything was top notch. We're not sure if we were just hungry but their pancakes tasted way better than other pancakes we've had! Their coffee was great, too. Great experience overall!
