Charlie's is an Evansville staple that I would highly recommend to anyone. For those unfamiliar with the experience, you load up a plate with raw ingredients buffet-style and they cook right in front of you on a large griddle. The service is quick and friendly, the food is tasty and cheap, and the location is perfect for a lunch break or informal dinner. Although there has been some complaints about the sanitation, I have eaten at Charlie's for multiple years and have never witnessed any one getting sick as a result of the food. If you're in the mood for some good noodles, you can't beat Charlie's.

We flew in last night and looked up a place for breakfast. Found Charlie’s online. Very casual, nothing fancy. Paper and plastic but the food and service was fantastic. Best omelet I’ve ever had! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
