I love their spilt n stuff hot dog and mushrooms... I visit them at least once a week ..i support all small local businesses....

Small spot with limited menu but spot on with what they serve! Fast and friendly service with freshly made food. The interior is decorated in Chicago Cubs memorabilia and is fun to look at. We happened to visit on a Saturday early afternoon and they had Saturday morning cartoons on which just added to the great atmosphere! Would go back again

Cute little place with great food at cheap prices! Owner was very friendly and you could tell he loved his work. Many unique burger and hot dog versions to try, it was tough to pick one.

I stopped by Broadway Joe's in Monticello for lunch today. It's easy to miss, so I ended up driving by it on the first pass. It was fairly busy when I stopped in, with customers already at the counter. I had the Chicago dog, fries, and a 12oz can of Coke. They informed me that they were out of poppy seed buns, which was a little disappointing. The food was fairly good, but the entire meal was a little pricey at $9 when they only offer a 60¢ can of soda in lieu of a proper refillable fountain drink. Overall, not a bad lunch. You can probably find a cheaper Chicago-style meal somewhere like AJ's in Lafayette or Portillo's in Indy. If in Monticello, this is a pretty good choice for lunch.
