Great food and fun. Unique service. Can't ask for better.
Awesome food and excellent service. Thanks for the amazing customized pizza last night Amy, it was delicious! We will be back soon for more ribs, nachos, and pizza.
Very nice hall with lots of hardwood floors and decor. Wonderful space for events!
We just held our wedding reception at this location. The owner was extremely easy to work with and the venue is gorgeous. We didnt have to do a lot of decorating because we let the beauty of the venue show. The staff was very friendly and helpful to our guests. They kept things very simple and smooth very everyone there. The bartender was awesome, she had everyone laughing and served immediately. She never missed a beat. The venue housed about 80 guests very very comfortably. My guests were obsessed with the food provided and were asking me if they could take some home with them. I highly recommend the smoked brisket and bbq chicken!!!!
First, I am a die hard Mexican Food foodie.
Second, the atmosphere, friendly staff, and well done murals make the food here less of the focus of my visits.
The fresh salsa and warm chips are enjoyable, ask for their very spicy salsa also and add your preferred amount to the milder salsa to make a great personalized spicy delight.
I had the chicken mole on my first visit. The mole sauce was pleasant, the chicken was unfortunately not. Very thin , french fry size, pieces of overcooked stiff chicken. They would improve with either larger chicken pieces or 1 breast nicely sliced and fanned out with the sauce over top would be a major improvement.
My second visit I had the chicken taquitos. Very good quality chicken, but their style is to make the chicken taquitos identically to their beef flautas, rolled in floor tortillas and fried. I personally prefer a corn tortilla rolled chicken taquito, as I am used to it being prepared as such.
All in all the food is alright for North East Iowa Mexican food.
They serve nice local beer at good prices too!
Take yourself, go as a couple or group, they will be very happy to serve you.
Enjoy this place for what is has, not what it is missing.
