    Mel is an amazing person and puts love into every plate that comes out of her kitchen. I recommend her burgers, they are amazing.

    She also made me pan fried gizzards one day, if that was a menu staple you wouldn't be able to keep me out of there.

    We had a fantastic lunch here and well worth the detour from the freeway, and the Deep Fried Snickers was a definite highlight!

    This was a cozy small town restaurant with plenty of charm. The locals were nice enough even though we displaced their regular seating! Very homey. It might just become a regular stop on our holidays.

    Mel is a mean lady but she can cook like she made a pact with the devil. Best cook in the area.
