Tata Yaya

Cute little place. We ordered The Eye of The Tiger with chicken and Drive to Hawaii without chicken...We ended up with two Eye of the Tigers with chicken. Luckily neither of us our vegetarian. No one came back to ask how everything was and they got busier after we got our food so we just enjoyed our food and conversation. The woman making our crepes was very sweet and she talked to me about her family and crepes! The food was very good but I do not like raw white onions especially thick cut raw white onions :P I think the dish would benefit from a sweet onion or a caramelized onion. In all, we enjoyed the food and we will be back again. I can't wait to try some cake!

We need more unique restaurants in main street like Tata Yaya and Ginger Thai!! ??

Honestly one of the cleanest and most welcoming restaurants in town. I've gone to some diners here in Cedar Falls where the restaurants aren't as tidy, were the food quality is not great and super greasy.

If you're looking for a relaxing experience to have a sweet treat or light breakfasts I highly recommend it here at Tata Yaya. Its perfect if you're looking something to replace the low quality overstuffed american fast food breakfast joints.

If you're looking for something smaller and refreshing to grab on the go, please get their freshly made Italian sodas or milk drinks! ?

Friendly staff, easy ordering system, very clean, and great food! I ordered the sweet waffle and added a side of syrup. Waffles was crispy and berries were fresh. I can't wait to try the rest in future visits!

This local cafe is cozy and cute. It’s a good place to grab a bite to eat with some friends. It’s owned by a local family that truly cares, if you have any problems with your order be sure to let them know, they will definitely help you have better experience.
