Mersim's | Bosnian + American Restaurant

4 & 1/2 really. Only complaint is it's really quiet. I felt like I shared my conversation with strangers, but the food is amazing. The whiskey list is awesome, more craft beer choices would be ideal. Literally the best burger in Iowa, wonderful goulash and yummy honey cake.

Mersim’s place is amazing. The staff is very friendly and professional, food fresh and delicious. We was been group of 12 people and also we order some food to go and they take care of as in reasonable time less than one hour. I see somebody complaining about waiting, in Chicago we wait approximately 45 minutes just to be seated. I wish you open one in Chicago area. Definitely if we are it Waterloo we will stop by a gain.

So proud to see first Bosnian American restaurant in Iowa! Very trendy place with a touch of Bosnian culture. I was there for a birthday party, and the atmosphere was just perfect! Food was delicious! Staff was welcoming, polite and professional. I would highly recommend Mersim's Kitchen. I wish there was a place like this in Des Moines area. Can't wait to go back.

I was excited about Mersim's before they even opened the doors and boy did they deliver. The staff was absolutely wonderful to our small group. We ordered as much food as we could afford to eat! Everything was outstanding in every way! I was surprised that they had my favorite burger on the menu as well. The Bosnian dishes were undeniably the best I've had so far! I cannot wait to come back and try everything else. Thank you to everyone for such a memorable experience.

New gem in the Cedar Valley! Exceptional in all aspects!! Better than the best in the Cedar Valley. Everything is 1st class; customer-friendly service and environment. No doubt, I'll be a regular customer. Keep in mind, this is a very new business and will probably experience a few initial growing pains.
