The staff is absolutely lovely and deserve five stars.

this pizza however has literally so much cheese and cheese sauce on it that it's almost inedible. Which comment like, is unfortunate bc I was really looking forward to the pizza

Went down for Oktoberfest but weather was cold, so went to Newton's for a bite. The pretzel appetizers were good, but the bratwurst cheddar soup was a bust. One piece of sausage in what looked like chicken or vegetable soup. Others in our party had the tenderloin which was huge. Service was slow, and prices were on the expensive side. Place is nostalgic, but dont think we'll be back again for awhile.

Ordered the famous pulled pork. The waitress returned to say they were out. I settled for a nondescript burger. We went there for their highly rated bloody Mary, which we ordered. No idea if this was just a bad day but the drink was ridiculously salty and I'm not even sure if there was any alcohol in it. Won't be returning any time soon.

5 stars for a Americana experience. This venue made me feel I was in a Dennis Hopper painting. The food was good. Not a greasy spoon but not fine dining. The deserts (bread pudding, berry strudel) they make themselves (hint: ask for ice cream!)
