Wishbone

I'll start with the good. Burgers were pretty good , we really enjoyed the fries and our server was great. Also, the prices were very reasonable. Unfortunately the place smelled like cigarettes. It was very bad in the lobby and noticable in the restaurant. It was a beautiful day outside so I am not sure why. I might be being a little picky about this but I will mention that the Mac n cheese looked like it was brought to our table in it's single serve microwave container. I guess I know a number of items are microwaved but I try not to think about it and most restaurants would try to oblige. See photo.

Grilled tenderloin and wishbone potatoes (reminiscent of Shakey's) were delicious. Our waitress was very understanding when we took a while to get around to opening the menus. this group hadn't been in the same place at the same time for a couple years!

Wishbone is awesome! Kate is an awesome server. The food is great, prices are affordable, kid friendly, and has a bar. This is far better than a lot of diners I’ve been to on my travels. The quality of the food taste is dialed nicely into the “comfort food” range -and we definitely over ate!! :D I’m from Chicago and I would definitely eat here again.

I've heard of them for many years through my grandma but never went. I finally went a couple weeks ago and LOVED it. I've been back a couple different times since then. The restaurant is clean, the servers are GREAT and the food is awesome. I love that everything is always fresh and the multiple times I've been here I've had my expectations met. ????
