Saints Avenue Cafe

Love how friendly the staff is and how they get to know the regulars. I go there every Sunday for brunch. Good food!

This place is amazing. All you can eat everything was so good. Drink refills the second you want em. Not to expensive either. I wish they were in Ames. But, it's certainly worth the drive.

My friend and I were on our way back from Des Moines heading home to Carroll and we were both hungry we thought we were going to stop at Dairy Queen and then we looked over and saw this restaurant called Saints Avenue Cafe it's not just a restaurant it's a buffet you never see buffets anymore. The food was AMAZING! I must say even during these trying times when restuarants are losing business left and right due to Covid 19 Saint Avenue Cafe proved to be the right choice indeed! They had a wide variety of food that not only looked good it tasted great! They had exceptional customer service and the perfect finisher....dessert! If your ever going through Boone, Iowa and find yourself hungry and not sure what to eat I strongly recommend that you take the time to stop at Saints Avenue Cafe they have a buffet and full menu and if you don't feel comfortable staying inside and eating at the buffet you can get the buffet togo, just pay by the pound which is awesome! Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Saints Avenue Cafe is hands down the place to go!

Great selection in an old school american buffet. Fried chicken, baked chicken, fried and baked fish, roast, spaghetti, tacos, salads, and much more. Plenty of desert options to choose from if your belly has the room. Service is great as well! Plenty of parking and appear to be doing all they can to social distance and cut down on contact.

I visited there last week for the first time, and it definitely won't be my last. The friends I was with suggested eating there, and I had misgivings about going to a buffet during a pandemic. But there were gloves supplied at the buffet line, and we were able to sit at a distance from others.
The staff was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, even offered to bring us dessert. I had mint chocolate chip ice cream, which was delicious.
The food is awesome, their macaroni and cheese, and pot roast were my favorite.
The price is very reasonable.
Will definitely return there soon, as I just moved to Boone. Glad this place is nearby.
