(October 14, 2020, 3:06 pm)This is my first time in Iowa and I happened to see this cute little place in Boone. The food was great, the server was pleasant and friendly, and the prices were super reasonable. Overall great place for breakfast.

(October 13, 2020, 5:36 pm)Plain old GREAT! Home town diner, clean and friendly! It's small enough for one waitress to take care of everyone if she's quick, and she is. You may have to wait for a table during the lunch rush, but it's worth the wait. I haven't been disappointed, but I don't mind walking through the kitchen to use the bathroom. BTW this family-owned gem is 73 years young and going strong.
NEW: Covid can't stop this train! Booths are separated by plexiglass, all precautions taken, and the food is still great. The Hot Beef Sandwich took me back 50 years. Fabulous!! -
